Niket Patwardhan
has had various professional roles in the software industry, ranging from Software Engineer to CEO. The technical areas of his work have included process migration technology, disk emulators, networking protocols, operating systems (like the first multiprocessor versions of UNIX), databases, reverse engineering, search engines, automated web page annotation, and virtual machines. He has multiple patents.

Companies he has worked at include INTEL, ALTOS, ORACLE, Verity, Sentius and Microsoft. Companies he has started are Software Compatibility Corporation, Jet Reverse Inc, dPower Inc, and DVOO Inc.

He also has a strong interest and attempts to stay current in AI, solar energy systems, and physics in general; and enjoys teaching. He likes to try different things - he has been a volunteer for the Gabbard campaign, run for Congress himself, pestered the Trump administration with incessant unsolicited advice, drove for Uber, sold life insurance, and volunteered as a salmon watcher.
